When you hit the trial button, you will be forwarded to the account registration. You just need to type in your email, a username and a password to get started.
Click the validation link in the confirmation email to activate your account.
Log into your new account with the email and password you defined.
Now navigate back to the trial system creation by hitting the trial button.
Your personal system needs a name. Type in a short name for your ContentCrank.
Select your preferred language. If you agree to our terms of service, tick the box and hit the green demo system creation button.
When the setup process finished, use the big green button to go to your ContentCrank system.
Use the External Concrete5 login option and type in your email address and the password you created earlier. Authorize the use of your ContentCrank Store credentials by confirming the dialog. After a successful login you will be forwarded to the ContentCrank installation options.
You can choose a longer name for your system to be used in the interface.
Select your preferred language for source content and user interface.
Optional: Select a logo and an icon for the navigation bar to personalize your ContentCrank.
Install sample content to follow the trial use cases. Select the use case you want to try or install everything. Just keep in mind that installing sample content images and editorial pages can take a while and let the installation finish.
After the installation you will be forwarded to the Welcome page. Navigate to the sitemap and to the file manager in the dashboard panel to the right to check imported sample content.
The dashboard backend holds all system relevant things like files, pages, express objects, users, permissions and services. The frontend page organizes and displays your content.
Since you already have some editorial pages if you installed all sample content you can export to idml right away.
The installation added idml template files and a fonts zip to your filemanager.
The sample content also contains databases. To follow the use cases, start at the database import page in the dashboard.
